polycom2 150x120 PolycomWe typically recommend Polycom Soundpoint model 330 SIP phones as the standard desk phone. These high-quality, 2-line, speakerphones plug into a standard, CAT-5 network jacks and have a switch built into them so the phone and a PC can share a single jack/run, if desired. All our phones can operate either via POE (power over Ethernet) or with their own AC power adapter at the phone. Using these IP phones means anyone can easily unplug the phone and move it to any location on the data network, and it will power on, with the known extension and feature set that it was originally programmed for. Adding a new phone is a simple matter of logging into a browser admin window and providing the basic information on the user the phone is assigned to, then plugging in the phone anywhere there is an Ethernet connection.
